The Keyboard Shortcut For Switching Between The Class Header And Method Files In XCode

I’m still new to XCode, so I get pretty excited when I learn new keyboard shortcuts. When switching between a class’s header (.h) and implementation (.m) file, I’ve been using my mouse. Lame, I know!

But today, I learned a cool keyboard shortcut to quickly go between the two:

Command-Control-Up (or Down) arrow

  • I have found that a lot of Keyboard Shortcuts that you type have typos – some very serious. Like in your post, My Favorite New Keyboard Shortcut, the command you have said is Ctrl-K but the correct is Ctrl-L. Please take note of this in future,

    • My favorite keyboard shortcut is Command + K. It is correct on my computer. Are you on a Mac?
