Stanford Introduction To Computer Science CS106A Study Group Meetup

Ok, so I have to be honest. I’ve been working on the last two problems in the first assignment for a few days now, and am having a really hard time! I would love some support, but am having trouble finding any Meetup groups out there specifically for the very beginners. So I’ve decided to start one. If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, contact me at natasha [at] holler [d0t] com and maybe we can get a study group going.

Hi Natasha…I’ve been looking at your blog recently.

I have a problem with one of the exercises in the book The Art and Science of Java by Eric Roberts.

It’s an exercise in chapter 8 about creating some sort of GLetter class and another DrawInitials.java class to use GLetter objects.

I have used an approach, but I’m unsure if it’s a good code implementation. I’ve sourced for help in quite a number of forums (including StackOverflow network) but to no avail.

I’d like to know how you solved this problem cos it looks like a really interesting one to me.

    Here’s my code so far:

My code seems to be too long; or at least that’s how I see it.
